There's 104 days of summer vacation
And school comes along just to end it
So the annual problem for our generation
Is finding a good way to spend it
Like maybe...
Building a rocket
Or fighting a mummy
Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower
Discovering something that doesn't exist (Hey! )
Or giving a monkey a shower
Surfing tidal waves
Creating nanobots
Or locating Frankenstein's brain (It's over here! )
Finding a dodo bird
Painting a continent
Or driving your sister insane (Phineas! )
As you can see
There's a whole lot of stuff to do
Before school starts this fall (Come on Perry)
So stick with us 'cause Phineas and Ferb
Are gonna do it all
So stick with us 'cause Phineas and Ferb are
Gonna do it all!
(Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence! )
So, the phineas and Ferb theme song because it's officially Summer. After 3 busy weeks in late june/early july, i have nothing to do all summer. unlike phineas and ferb, my summer will consist of running, sleeping, eating, texting, pinteresting, blogging, and playing the piano. so the best of luck to all those who suffer from the annual problem of our generation

Social Wars Episode II: A New Hope
Turns out all was not lost! As I share one class with one of the males as previously mentioned on the blog(what's your favorite tree), I thought that it would totally defeat any chance of him showing any sign of recognition towards me. That is not the case! My English teacher made the horrible mistake of forming a little triangle of Mormon kids(myself being in that), and the previously mentioned male is also in it. So now for once I do not dread going to English class because 2/3 members of the Mormon triangle are extremely social and loud and talkative(myself not included) and I just get to talk to them and they are bringing out a louder side to me, which I think is greatly surprising my English teacher, seeing as how it's barely been a week and she's already had to tell us to be quiet many times. So for once in my life, Ms. Issippi has offered a beacon of hope(she assigned the seating).

Social Skills!!!!!
Well, today I talked to two people of the opposite gender, hooray for me. All was going as awkward as normal, me just standing there following around my friends who were actually talking, when I thought, I really can be social if I want to, I'll try being social. So I did.
Fact: I can't be social even if I want to.
The highlight of my social experience was asking these two guys what their favorite tree was.
Note to anyone reading this: unless you know this person is interested in botany, don't ask them what their favorite tree is.
It ended in awkward silence when my two social friends left.
Maybe I'll just stick to a simple, "'sup?"

So what happened to those blue converse?
Scrolling through my old blog posts I realized I started this blog when I had a shiny new pair of blue converse. You might be thinking, what happened to those blue converse? Who am I kidding? you're not thinking about that. Well even if you weren't thinking about that, I'm telling you anyways. I think they're in my closet.... or maybe thrown away. I'm not sure. I have a horribly messy closet and they were getting horribly old and got a mysterious sticky substance on the side of them. But, since then I have gotten two pairs of plaid converse and most recently, red converse(none of those high tops, by the way). I figured it would be very tedious to constantly be changing the name of the my blog with each new pair of shoes I get (I mostly wear converse; I am quite adamant about that), so my blue converse it is.
On a totally unrelated note...
Let's move to Spain... or France... or New Zealand... or Australia. As you can probably tell by my raving of target and adamant love of converse, I'm American. More specifically, Californian (as you can tell by my mention of Disneyland). I've lived my life totally normal, just in a plain suburban neighborhood. I go to school, go home, waste a lot of time, and hang out with my friends on Friday/Saturday and go to church on Sunday. As you can tell, quite monotonous. Satisfying to many, but not for the adventurous Annie (that's my name, by the way). I've started a drawing series called "Annie's Imaginary Adventures in Paris". I fell in love with the idea of France several years back and have dreamed of living there for a year in between high school and college ever since. After some consideration, I thought, why not Spain? Spain looks fun, my parents speak Spanish, we could have a bed and breakfast in Spain (My mother has always dreamed of owning a bed and breakfast and my cousin has talked of opening a bed and breakfast in France with all of the cousins and extended family). And if you own a bed and breakfast, then you can live there with your family and get to know all sorts of different travelers. As far as New Zealand, my mom is always looking at bed and breakfasts all over the globe and my parents visited New Zealand a few years back and fell in love with it. And Australia is just another passion of mine.

Target
I love target jokes. Look into my eye (the bullseye) and get sucked in here for 3 hours. We only need milk, walk out with curtains. Whoever said money can't buy happiness has clearly never been to target. I went to target but couldn't find anything I liked, said no one ever.
Well those are just a few of my favorites. But you know what I love more than target jokes? ...
Target...and les misérables. But les misérables will probably get 5 posts later on. This post is for you, target.
Well, mutual(the church youth group) ended early, and as previously stated i still have spring break, my brother was at work (at Disneyland), and my father was in Sacramento trying to pass a bill and wouldn't be home until the next afternoon. My mother was at mutual this night, so her, my sister, and I are on our way home when we passed target and I suggested we go to target. We then turned around and headed to target. Mind you, no one was waiting for us at home, so what else where we to do? I had a list of clothes I wanted for spring/summer; my closet had very dark, wintery tones and I soon wouldn't be able to hide behind a school uniform. Amongst the list I had a maxi skirt and a denim vest. There were others on the list but I figured it wasn't a good idea to shop late at night with allergies acting up (it might lead to making wrong decisions when you're drowsy). So I'm in target looking for a maxi skirt and denim vest when, before you know it, that is an adorable dress! Oh. My. Goodness. Look at those pants. A seersucker blazer(swoon). So much for my list. But I tried to stay on task and my mother got even more sidetracked than me. But there were yellow shorts with a bird print on them, how was I supposed to resist those? So before I knew it I was trying on shorts, a shirt, and a dress (mind you I was trying to not get side tracked) but luckily for my list the dress was a hi-lo (I had never tried on a hi-lo dress before and I didn't like the feeling that it was lower in the back, I don't know, something about it just seemed off), the shorts were too big, and the shirt wasn't the style I was looking for. My sister on the other hand got an adorable polka dot navy pencil skirt. So then we decide to check if there's any clearance Easter candy. Of course there was. 70% off. Three trays off peeps for 59 cents and mini Cadbury eggs were 95 cents a package. We got three packages of Cadbury eggs, jellybeans, Easter snickers, and peeps. And I thought I was finally getting the sugar out of my system. And then on our way out of the store we passes by the bicycle aisle. I am madly in love with all of those bicycles. There's the blue one, or the red one, or the yellow one or the other blue one, or the one with the wooden accents and palm leaves painted on it (that last one's my favorite) and you think you're out of the woods, or out of the store, when you get to the bikes and you stand there gaping for ten minutes. And the you just have to force yourself to walk away and then you see the pillows that match the lampshade but you just have to break away from the trap and get to the checkout stand where the only thing that can stop you is the thought that maybe if you got an extra extra large you just might fit into the little girl's dress, then you dismiss the thought and the only thing to tempt you is les misérables on DVD, which you already have, you got it the day it came out, and the gum, which really isn't that exciting. But then there's the last trap... You see the store is opened until 11 and the store started to get really empty around 8:30, so you make a vow to go to target from 9:30-11 everyday next summer.
Welcome to the target zone.

Spring break
I have two weeks of spring break. I am now midway through week two and I have basically wasted this wonderful opportunity. But, I did make a missing pet rock poster. Someone left a note on the poster that said, " found your pet rock. Thanks for making my day" so that was kind of fun. I've also discovered that I am a huge pyromaniac. Whenever I'm bored I usually go outside and light leaves on fire. What a wonderful recreational activity. I've also been doing a bit of painting in my spare time, which is super fun. And I went to Disneyland yesterday. And I made a tipi out of sticks and twine when my mother started yelling at me for lighting leaves on fire. I made a whole list of stuff I'd like to do over the break, but guess what, my friends actually have lives so I can't do half that stuff( most of it would only be fun with my friends). Ooh, I also just remembered that I went laser questing and chick-fil-a-ing, which was super fun. That is all... For now.
And some pictures... My mini tipi
Spring skies and a tree
My dirt stained feet from my adventure outside
And to conclude, this stuff burned the best
