Social Wars Episode II: A New Hope
Turns out all was not lost! As I share one class with one of the males as previously mentioned on the blog(what's your favorite tree), I thought that it would totally defeat any chance of him showing any sign of recognition towards me. That is not the case! My English teacher made the horrible mistake of forming a little triangle of Mormon kids(myself being in that), and the previously mentioned male is also in it. So now for once I do not dread going to English class because 2/3 members of the Mormon triangle are extremely social and loud and talkative(myself not included) and I just get to talk to them and they are bringing out a louder side to me, which I think is greatly surprising my English teacher, seeing as how it's barely been a week and she's already had to tell us to be quiet many times. So for once in my life, Ms. Issippi has offered a beacon of hope(she assigned the seating).

Social Skills!!!!!
Well, today I talked to two people of the opposite gender, hooray for me. All was going as awkward as normal, me just standing there following around my friends who were actually talking, when I thought, I really can be social if I want to, I'll try being social. So I did.
Fact: I can't be social even if I want to.
The highlight of my social experience was asking these two guys what their favorite tree was.
Note to anyone reading this: unless you know this person is interested in botany, don't ask them what their favorite tree is.
It ended in awkward silence when my two social friends left.
Maybe I'll just stick to a simple, "'sup?"
