It's a hard knock life part 3

Well, well, well...
my current largest problem is still the one mentioned in purpose of blogging. Ms. Issippi and Mr. Awesome. I talked to the schedule change people to see if i could get a spot in Mr. Awesome's class seeing as how some kids may drop. Their reply: We don't usually do teacher to teacher schedule changes, but you can right a note to your counselor. So i sat down in the office for 20 minutes righting a note on why i should be in Mr. Awesome's class. That was a week a go. I still haven't heard back from anyone in the office. Just yesterday a much wiser person told me that when they have you right a note to your counselor, your counselor won't read it or take it seriously. So that's that. I will definitely march into the office tomorrow and demand to speak with my counselor playing the Ms.-Issippi's-teaching-style-doesn't-fit-me-and-i-had-better-grades-last-year card. We'll see.

Now for some positives...
It's my best friend's birthday on Sunday and another one of my good friend's birthday on Friday.
Taylor Swift's new album Red just came out. That's a necessity.
Cross-Country is fun, but i tripped on a brick yesterday.
Today I talked with one of the nicest and sweetest and funniest people i know but don't see very often for half an hour.
I painted my nails red for Red. (see above)
One of the P.E. teachers had a baby.
My good friend's birthday is on some obscure holiday :)

It's a hard knock life part 2

Well, welcome to the second installment of It's a Hard Knock Life. If this is your first time joining us, you might be pleased to know that i switched the background image. I thought all the concert lights looked pretty cool. Today i decided that I currently have absolutely nothing to do with my life. Every time the weekend comes I am extraordinarily bored and i resort to going on facebook all day or even doing my homework. So to my wonderful audience, any ideas on how to beat the boredom? I love pinterest but i think i would prefer something in real life to eliminate the boredom. I feel like the more as I age i become less creative and fun and energetic.

Until next time my faithful followers,
Kumquat Lover (I really should change that name, wouldn't you agree? Leave a suggestion in the comments box!)

Purpose of Blogging

I realized that the whole point of blogging is to be consistent and tell what you're up to in life. I don't really have a large blogging audience(my one cousin), so it's kinda like talking to myself/venting, but someone who doesn't have anything better to do than meander through random blogs might come across mine and find it uplifitng or interesting or maybe even plain stupid(i would be just fine it someone thought that it was plain stupid, though). So now if you don't mind, i'll vent about school. I feel like i shouldn't use my teacher's names on the internet, so i will call my horrid english teacher Ms. Issippi(she has a really strong southern accent), get it, as in Mississippi? (insert laughs) Well, i suppose that Ms. Issippi isn't really that bad, it's more of the kids in my class. One week into the school year, a large portion of the school got a schedule change because kids who were originally not in honors got switched into honors classes. Well, i've always been in all honors, but i decided to try a new elective. I ended up not liking it and switching back to the elective i took the year before. So on the big schedule change day i got back my good elective and i still had Ms. Issippi( i had her for the first time before the schedule change also) except i just had her at a different class period. Well, it turns out that this class period was previously non-honors, but after the schedule change the school deemed these children honors-worthy. For anyone who has ever attended a public school, they will know that half the reason you sign up for an honors class is just so you don't get stuck with idiots, so this "honors" class had a bunch of should-be-non-honors-kids in it( and Ms. Issippi doesn't give challenging work at all, it's kinda like shut up and do a worksheet and you'll pass). The thing about Ms. Issippi is that she's tolerable if you have friends in your class because she's really boring, but because most of my class is should be non honors kids, none of my friends are in there because they didn't have to get schedule changes. To make matters worse, the year before i got Ms. Issippi, i had the best English teacher i've ever had; he taught us how to write essays, his class was fun, he was exciting, and you actually learned alot, and all my friends were in my class. So needless, to say, one of my favorite classes, best teacher, best experience. We'll call this teacher Mr. Awesome. So Mr. Awesome's classroom is right next to Ms. Issippi's classroom, so while i'm stuck with complete strangers/idiots and we're doing these stupid grammar worksheets like we're in second grade, i can hear Mr. Awesome's class being loud, and fun, and learning a lot, and i know half the kids in that class and it's torture at it's worst. I was thinking that since Mr. Awesome's class is actually kind of hard, there might be a few kids who have his class when i have Ms. Issippi's that will drop out of honors. I would honestly be willing to lick the floors of his classroom and chew the gum off the desks if that's what it took to get me into that class. I don't know how that pertains to me getting a spot in his class, but in desperate times( Ms. Issippi's class qualifies as desperate times), desperate measure must be taken.

Thank you for listening to this rant and putting up with my grammatical errors.
Sincerely my faithful readers,
Kumquat Lover

Please return in I-don't-know-how-long/when for the next installment of, how does this sound for a title "It's a hard-knock life"? i like it
